Sergi Reixach from Spain is the latest poker champion to get his hands on the title of Poker Masters 2019 after he was the topper of the 41-strong field in $25,000 no-limit Hold’em eight events. This is an incredible win for the Spaniard and his finish was worth $369,000. This has been the second-largest amount in his career in poker tournaments.
After this, only two events remain and some of the top poker players of the world have exchanged $25000 to get an opportunity to the leaderboard of Poker Master and get their hands on the hankered purple jacket.
Anthony Zinno, Ben Heath, Cary Katz, Chance Kornuth, Nick Petrangelo, Byron Kaverman, Erik Seidel, Dan Smith, and Kahle Burns came together for the toughest field. However, all of them busted before they reached the top 6 finishing positions in the official financial table.
Petrangelo secured the second place and broke the disillusion. From a late position, Sean Winter opened to 140,000 and had to make an easy call as Petrangelo shoves just for 190,000 on his button. Winter turned kings, while Petrangelo sevens.
Sergi Reixach Beats Every Contender at the Final Table
Sergi Reixach, who is also known as ‘Srxakgirona’ in the world of online poker seems to be in great form as he won EPT Barcelona’s €100,000 Super High Roller for €1,816,210 in the month of August. He continued with his run good by sending over winter to the rail in 6th place and Andras Nemeth, the Hungarian high stake expert to showers in 5th.
Sam Soverel, the Spaniard dispatched the 4th place. He had been in for his last 8 big blinds with Q-10 and Reixach countered him with K-5. Each of the players made a pair. Poker Masters 2019 has only two events remaining and one of them is already in the finals. The night event of no-limit Hold’em has come down to 6 players and Ali Imsirovic is leading followed by ‘Kahle Burns’. Elio Fox, David Peters, Sean Winter, and Sam Soverel might form the rest of the table.
Soverel is to secure even more points on the leaderboard after he banked his 6th cash of the festival. Chance Kornuth might be hoping that Soverel doesn’t make it all the way to the top of the table by the start of the final event.
